Seljalandsfoss is an iconic waterfall located in the south of Iceland, just off the famous Ring Road. It is one of the country's most famous waterfalls and is renowned for its unique feature, which sets it apart from other waterfalls - it has a walking path behind the falling water.
The waterfall drops approximately 60 meters from a cliff, and the water originates from the melting ice of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. The glacial meltwater travels down the Seljalandsá River, which creates the breathtaking Seljalandsfoss waterfall.
