Yes, all of our tours are 100% private. That means it’s just your group and your guide. No strangers, no crowded buses, no set pace. You get full flexibility to shape the day around your interests.

How do I book a tour?

You can contact us directly at hello@familyandfriendsiceland.com or call us at +354 770 4101. Once we confirm your date and preferences, we’ll send a secure payment link via WooCommerce (powered by Rapyd) to complete the booking.

What’s included in the tour price?

All tours include private transport, a local guide, Wi-Fi on board, snacks, and fuel. Some experiences also include entrance tickets, meals, or a photographer; specifics are listed in each tour description.

Can I customize the itinerary?

Absolutely. Every tour is flexible. You can add stops, skip places, stay longer at a location, or adjust the day based on weather or interest. Just let us know what you’re looking for, and we’ll shape it around you.

 

Are your tours family-friendly?

Yes. We specialize in experiences that work well for kids, grandparents, and everyone in between. We choose safe, accessible stops and build in time for breaks, snacks, and flexibility.

Do you run tours year-round?

Most of our tours operate all year, but some activities (like glacier walks or volcano hikes) depend on weather and daylight. If you’re planning a winter trip, we’ll guide you toward the best seasonal options.

What should I bring?

Dress in layers, wear good walking shoes, and bring a water bottle. We’ll send a full checklist after booking based on your specific tour and time of year.

How do I pay?

We accept secure online payments via WooCommerce and Rapyd. You’ll receive a link to pay by credit or debit card once your tour is confirmed. No cash payments are accepted for advance bookings.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We offer free cancellation up to 72 hours before the tour. Within 72 hours, we charge 50%. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. We’re flexible when weather or emergencies are involved—just talk to us.

What if the weather is bad?

Iceland’s weather changes quickly, but our guides adjust on the go. We’ll reroute if needed, offer backup stops, or shift timing to make the most of your day. Safety always comes first, and we’ll never take you somewhere unsafe.
